Rental accommodation FAQs

What do we need to bring with us?

All bedding is provided and your beds will be made up for your arrival.

Please however bring towels and the normal necessitates.  A list of suggested items can be found here.

Does the glamping accommodation have bathrooms and kitchens?

Yes, all of the glamping accommodation is entirely self contained.  This means you have you have your own adjoining kitchen and bathroom that no other guests use.  The kitchen is  equipped with a gas stove, microwave, kettle and toaster and all the crockery and utensils you will need.  You can also cook on top of the fire pit and a camp fire cook book is provided to give you ideas!  You may however prefer  to bring a BBQ with you.

How many people can I fit in a geodome?

The maximum people we allow  is 5 – with a maximum of 4 adults.  The booking price is for 2 persons so there will be a £10 surcharge per night for the extra persons.

Unfortunately if you are a group of more than 4 adults you would need to take 2 domes or pods.

Are the domes warm?

Yes….the domes are well insulated so you can camp all year round in warmth and comfort.  However in colder periods  each dome will be provided with a  wood burning stove – the only time you may feel cold is when you wake up in the morning. Please note that the stove gets very hot. Children (and adults) will need to exercise caution when the wood burner is on. Please ask for a fire guard if you have small children.

We provide you with  a starter pack of wood and kindling with fire lighters, which should  be sufficient for your first night.  You can collect  additional logs  as and when required from the log shed and pay in the honesty box.

The pods/holiday caravans  are provided with electric radiators.

Can I drive next to the accommodation?

Yes you can drive right up to all our accommodation (no need for wheel barrows!) and there is parking for at least 1 car.

Where can we see more photographs of the accommodation and facilities?

A selection of photographs have been added to the gallery.  However, our Facebook page is also regularly updated with photographs by ourselves and our guests.
