Yes you can drive right up to your yurt.

DO THE YURTS/POD HAVE A TOILET IN THEM ?

No, however the communal facilities are only a short walk away.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I FIT IN A YURT ?

The maximum people we allow in a yurt is 6 – with a maximum of 4 adults.  The booking price is for up to 4 persons so there will be a £10 surcharge per night for the extra persons.

Unfortunately if you are a group of more than 4 adults you would need to take 2 yurts.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I FIT IN A POD?

The pod has a double bed, a single bed and a small trundle bed which is only suitable for infants.  We therefore recommend a maximum occupancy of 3.  It suits a family with small children, couples, or 3 close friends!

ARE THE YURTS WARM ?

Yes….the yurts are well insulated so you can camp all year round in warmth and comfort.  However in colder periods  each yurt has a wood burning stove which heats the yurt in 20 minutes, the only time you may feel cold is when you wake up in the morning. Please note that the stove gets very hot. Children (and adults) will need to exercise caution when the wood burner is on. Please ask for a fire guard if you have small children.

IS THERE ANYTHING TO COOK ON IN THE YURT/POD?

Yes, there is an adjoining cabin kitchen for your exclusive use which has  a camping gas stove and  microwave .  It is fully kitted out with everything you will need for your stay.  You can also cook on top of the fire pit.  You may wish to bring a BBQ with you.

Bedding is provided in yurts  and your beds will be made up for your arrival.

If you are staying in  pod then please order bedding when making your booking and we will make the beds up for you.  Otherwise you will need to bring pillows, sleeping bag or duvets, and bed linen.
